2021"Win the Future" Venture Contest for Intl. Entrepreneurs- European Division Food Tech field open for application!
Members of AOCFP have participated in the previous contests with several projects awarded prizes. This year Association of Oversea Chinese Food Professionals (AOCFP) has the privilege to become the official cooperative promotion partner of European division of this contest, we welcome Chinese and foreign talents to submit your ideas.
We have established our expert committee consisting of food experts from AOCFP network to help you on idea sparring and sharpening, and provide necessary guides on navigating in the contest. So feel free to contact us at info@aocfp.com if you have any questions before your application.
ABOUT THE CONTEST
The “Win the Future” Venture Contest for International Entrepreneurs is organized by the Suzhou International Elite Venture Week Alliance. It aims to create a high-level innovation and entrepreneurship platform for overseas high-level talents.
Starting from 2009, in order to help more overseas high-level talents to start their business in Suzhou, the “Win the Future” Venture Contest has successfully been held for nine times, received more than 6200 applications from more than 40 countries including EU, US, Japan, Australia. The event has obtained a great reputation world widely and gathered thousands of talents globally. It assists these talents to achieve their dream of innovation and entrepreneurship.
The Competition of European Division has been successfully held seven times in various European cities e.g. Frankfurt, Munich and Paris. It has attracted a large number of overseas high-level talents and excellent projects to visit Suzhou for further cooperation. Among these, more than 80 projects have successfully started in Suzhou.
Food Tech Area
In order to better attract talents and entrepreneurship ideas in the food tech area from Europe, European Division event organizer has delegated Association of Oversea Chinese Food Professionals (AOCFP) to promote the event and collect the applications from European food tech field. The event welcomes companies and individual talents to participate!
Awards
1) Awards of European Division
First prize, 1 winner, 100,000 RMB(around 13000 euros )/project
Second prizes, 3 winners, 50,000 RMB(around 6500 euros)/project
Third prizes, 4 winners, 20,000 RMB (around 2600 euros)/ project
Excellent prizes, 6 winners, 10,000 RMB (around 1300 euros)/project
Winners in “Win the Future” Venture Contest for International Entrepreneurs- European Division will automatically be enrolled as the candidates for the global finals held in Suzhou, China in July 2021 directly.
2) The first-prize winner of the global finals (held in Suzhou in July 2021), who starts the business within 1 year and meets certain requirements, can be directly entitled Gusu Leading Talents and have the relevant policy and financial support. The second and third-prize winner, who starts a business in Suzhou within one year, can directly attend the Gusu Leading Talents Program Interview.
3) The selected projects will enjoy media exposure, and be recommended to the cooperative venture capitals and banks to have the priority for financial support if they are planning to develop their market in China.
APPLICATION
Applicants should submit ① the completed registration form (see attached file), ② business plan (please include key project information to fit the evaluation purpose). You should send all documents to Association of Oversea Chinese Food Professionals (AOCFP) email address: info@aocfp.com , application deadline 30 April 2021.
The outstanding projects will be recommended to the European division regional final contest which will be held in Leiden on 19 May 2021.
INTRODUCTION OF CITY SUZHOU
Suzhou, located in the southeastern part of Jiangsu Province, is one of the central cities in the Yangtze River Delta. Suzhou is famous for its long history and culture in China. It has a history of more than 2,500 years starting from the Spring and Autumn Period. However, Suzhou is not only famous for its unique city style but also for its rich production of fish, rice, and silk in its history. All of these entitled it the reputation for “paradise.” More importantly, Suzhou is one of the most economically advanced and industrialized cities in China. In 2019, the regional GDP exceeded 1.93 trillion RMB.
